At the 13th of April the board of Omega Healthcare Investors decided to increase the quarterly dividend from $ 0,62 to $ 0,63 per quarter. This means an increase of $ 0,04 per share per year which translates to a 1,61% increase. The dividend is paid on May the 15th 2017 to shareholders of record on May the 1st 2017. This is the 19th consecutive increase in the quarterly dividend. This is an 8,62% increase compared to the dividend in the same quarter of last year!
I have 32 shares at $32,30 and a yield on cost rises to 7,8%. I don’t see any reason the continuation of the dividend growth will stop!
Like the few aristocratic dividends I own, OHI has all the qualities to become a must-have value of the portfolio. What do you think about?
